Funeral services for Paula Ann Hamby, 55, of Ravenna, will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, June 15, 2017 in Wise Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Willow Wild Cemetery. Paula passed away early Tuesday, June 13, 2017 at her residence.
Paula was born March 17, 1962 in Dallas, Texas, the daughter of Jimmy Janeway and Bernice Hill Janeway. She attended Bonham schools and was a 1980 graduate of Ector High School. Paula married Lee Hamby on Nov. 10, 1988 in Bonham. She enjoyed shopping, collecting Precious Moments figurines, and her dogs. She was a homemaker and a member of the Baptist faith. Paula was preceded in death by her son, Matthew Ryan Hamby and her father, Jimmy Janeway.
Paula is survived by her husband, Lee Hamby of Ravenna, TX, two daughters, Shannon Little and husband, Mason of Commerce, TX and Heather Bailey and husband, David of Bonham, TX, mother, Bernice Hill Janeway of Windom, TX, two sisters, Kathy Norton and husband, Jim of Waskom, TX and Brenda Salinas and husband, Matt of Longview, TX, two grandchildren, Maci Little of Commerce and Cody Ryan Starnes of Bonham, extended family and a host of friends.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or the ASPCA.
