Graveside services for Paul Henry McCormack, 88, of Gainesville, Texas will be held at 2:30 PM Saturday, Nov. 8, 2014 in Dodd City Cemetery, Dodd City, TX under the direction of Wise Funeral Home. Rev. Don Sheffield and Rev. Bill Sheffield will officiate. Paul passed away early Thursday morning, Nov. 6, 2014 at Traditions Senior Living in Sherman, TX.
Paul was born March 26, 1926 in Ladonia, Texas, the son of Beverly Henry "BH" McCormack and Maude Francis Glover McCormack. He was a graduate of Ladonia High School and attended Texas A&M University. Paul married Lowell Ray Coney on June 4, 1948 in Ladonia, Texas. He was an independent oil producer for many years. Paul was a member of First Baptist Church in Gainesville, secretary/treasurer for the Gainesville Kiwanis Club and a member of the North Texas Oil and Gas Association. He was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Susan Hasemeyer on Dec. 13, 2012; his daughter, Sharron Ann Miller in 1989; his parents; two brothers, Kenneth Dewitt McCormack and Leslie McCormack; and a sister, Gladys Eudine Shropshire

Son, Lowell Henry McCormack and wife, Lucina of Austin, TX
2 Grandchildren, Scott Miller and wife Susan and Sandra Ferguson and husband, Scott, all of Houston, TX
4 Great Grandchildren, Alyssa Ferguson, Jenna Ferguson, Bethany Denton and Bryce Denton
Numerous nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, extended family and friends.
