Memorial services for Paul Kenneth Haubrich, 63, of Bonham, will be held at 1:30 PM, Sunday, June 8, 2014 at First Presbyterian Church in Bonham. Rev. Brad Dardaganian will officiate. Graveside services will be held at 9:00 AM Monday, June 9, 2014 at Dallas/Fort Worth National Cemetery, Dallas, Texas under the direction of Wise Funeral Home. Paul passed away Thursday, May 22, 2014 at his residence.
Paul was born January 13, 1951 in Kenosha, Wisconsin, the son of Kenneth Paul Haubrich and Mary Nanette Exton Haubrich. He attended school in Kenosha, Wisconsin and Oklahoma City Community College. Paul was a US Army veteran of the Vietnam War.
He married Cheryl Leslie Rhodes on Oct. 16, 1992 in Dallas, Texas. They moved to McKinney, Texas to raise their family as he continued in his successful business, DiCom Financial. Later they moved to Bonham, Texas, to retire and began a dairy. Paul was the customer contact for their family dairy On Pure Ground in Bonham. He was known as "The Cheese Man". He was a member of Our Savior Lutheran Church in McKinney, and recently attended the First Presbyterian Church in Bonham. He enjoyed collecting watches, history and reading immensely, but never as much as entertaining and interacting with people.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Brad Haubrich.
Paul is survived by his wife, Cheryl Leslie Rhodes Haubrich of Bonham, Texas; two sons, Kenny Spencer and wife, Natasha of Burlington, Wisconsin and Jesse Haubrich and wife, Angelica of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; three daughters, Michelle Haubrich of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Alyessa Ordonez and husband, Christopher of Plano, Texas, and Alexandra Haubrich of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; one
brother, Warren Haubrich of West Bend, Wisconsin; two sisters, Carol Haubrich of Fort Myers, Florida and Janet Young of West Bend, Wisconsin; four grandchildren, Mary Spencer Bell, Zoe Haubrich, Cheryl E. Haubrich and Jelina Haubrich and one great grandson, Jameson Bell.
Paul wore a bright smile and had a cheery word to all he met. He will be missed.
