Graveside services for Patsy Lorene Woolsey, 74, of Bonham, will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday, May 14, 2013 at Arledge Ridge Cemetery under the direction of Wise Funeral Home. Bro. Cody Nelson and Bro. W. C. "Bill" Beasley will officiate. Patsy passed away Thursday morning, May 9, 2013 at Seven Oaks Nursing and Rehab in Bonham.

Patsy was born January 4, 1939 in Ravenna, Texas, the daughter of Clarence Edgar Melson and Bernice Viola Burk Melson. She attended schools in Ector, Dodd City and Bonham. Patsy married Paul Lee Woolsey on April 13, 1956 in Durant, Oklahoma. Patsy enjoyed a number of careers in her lifetime. She began as a young lady at the Bob-In. She then worked as a sales clerk for Stewman's Ladies Apparel for a number of years, and was a bookkeeper for Bonham Office Supply. Following this, she worked for Barrow's Jewelry for 13 years and later retired as a doctor's assistant for Dr. Walter Sisk at Texomacare in Bonham. She was a longtime member of Seventh & Main Baptist Church. Patsy enjoyed playing the guitar and piano. She also liked planting flowers and working in her yard. Patsy was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Kenneth Gene Melson.

She is survived by her husband, Paul Woolsey of Bonham, Texas,
son, David Paul Woolsey and wife, Karen of Denison, Texas, two brothers, C. Joe Melson of Hendersonville, Tennessee and
Dennis Ray Melson of Waco, Texas,
two sisters, Wanda L. Franklin and husband, L. A. of Midland, Texas and Katie L. Bethel and husband, Jimmy of Bonham, Texas,
two grandchildren, Jefferson Paul Woolsey of Sherman, Texas and
Jessica Lynn Nelson of Fairbaulk, Minnesota, one great grandson, Kaden Scott Nelson of Leonard, Texas, two Step granddaughters and 6 step great grandchildren,
Her beloved 6 nieces, 2 nephews, 3 great nieces, 2 great nephews, 2 great great nieces, 6 great great nephews and a number cousins and extended family.
