Pat was born on January 2, 1937, to Winton Earl Werckle and Florine Carollo Werckle in Peoria, Illinois. She was the second of five children in her family. Her early childhood and schooling was spent in Peoria. At the age of eleven she moved with her family to Rockford, Illinois where she attended Roosevelt Junior high and West High School. The family moved to Manhattan, Illinois the summer of 1952 and she finished her education at Joliet Township High School.
She married Robert John Bovee in 1954 and of this marriage six children were born, Deborah, Robert Guy, Glenn, Tami, Kim and Johnny. Following their divorce she married again briefly and had another daughter, Julie Criswell.
Pat had a very successful career at Multi-Ad in Peoria where she was Advertising Manager for many years. After she retired from Multi-Ad she spent many years babysitting for her grandson, Cody, and several other very fortunate children. She loved children and was excellent with them. They loved to come to "Pat's house" and she was happy to see each of them. She loved music, attending plays at the local theater, television, movies and reading books, magazines and newspapers in her spare time. She also enjoyed going out to eat. Steak and pizza were her favorite meals.
Pat was a very loving and generous person and she often expressed how much she loved her family. She had recently joined St. Elizabeth's Catholic Church in Bonham and was happy in her new faith.
