Patricia Louise Hysaw

Patricia Louise Hysaw, 92, passed away at Clyde W. Cosper Texas State Veterans Home on December 30, 2023. Arrangements are under the direction of Wise Funeral Home.

Patricia was born to parents, Clarence and Emma Henderson in Wormleysburg, PA on July 29, 1931. Pat joined the United States Navy and proudly served her country from 1951 to 1953. Pat is listed in the Military Women's Memorial in Arlington, VA. Her time in the service will always be a shining moment in her life. Pat married the love of her life Jimmy Hysaw and they shared 47 years together. She went on to work at Fort Sill National Bank as a book keeper for 23 years. Pat was very active in the school Parent Teacher Association (PTA) when her three children were growing up. So much so, she was awarded an honorary lifetime membership. Hard work and diligence was at the core of Pat. When she was growing up she made additional income by ironing and when the kids needed a coke, she always had a quarter for them. She will be fondly remembered for her love of faith and family. Being a grandmother was the highlight of her life.

Pat is preceded in death by her parents, 2 sisters, 1 brother, and a grandson, Ray Hysaw Jr.

She leaves behind children, Jim Hysaw Jr., and wife Gloria, Ray Hysaw and wife Jane, Kelly Davis and husband Brian, grandchildren, Nick Hysaw, Phlip Hysaw, Chris Hysaw, Michael Hysaw, Kelsey Felder, Caleb Davis, Kasey Davis, 14 great grandchildren and 2 great - great grandchildren.

The family wishes to express its heart felt gratitude for Clyde W. Cosper Texas State Veterans Home in Bonham, TX. The staff and level of care was exceptional. A graveside service will be Saturday, January 6, 2023  at Sunset Memorial Gardens, Lawton, OK at 1pm.
