Pamela Jean
Thomason
September 8, 1968 – May 24, 2026
Pamela Jean Thomason was born in Dallas, Texas, and passed away at Texoma Medical Center in Denison, Texas. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Wise Funeral Home, Bonham, TX.
Pamela was a graduate of Ector High School, Class of 1987, and carried the pride of that accomplishment throughout her life. She valued hard work, loyalty, and the simple joys of everyday living. Her life was marked by devotion to her family, her work, and the many relationships she built through her caring nature and easy smile. Pamela spent many years working in childcare while raising her daughters, a role that reflected both her patience and her nurturing heart. Later, she worked at Ector ISD in the cafeteria, where she continued to serve others with kindness and dedication.
Those who knew Pamela will remember her as loving, friendly, and kind. She truly did not meet a stranger, and she had a way of making people feel comfortable from the very first conversation. Her super sweet personality and fun-loving spirit left a lasting impression on all who had the pleasure of knowing her. She was the kind of person who could lift the mood in a room simply by being herself. Pamela enjoyed life in many simple and meaningful ways. She loved crime shows and could spend time following a good mystery with interest. She also enjoyed cooking, and the care she put into preparing meals was another reflection of her loving nature. At home, she cherished her dog, Pippa, who brought her comfort. Her affection for Pippa was a special part of her daily life and a reminder of the tenderness she carried in her heart. One of the fond memories connected to Pamela was the trip taken by the 1987 ladies on a cruise, a time that represented friendship, laughter, and shared joy.
Pamela is preceded in death by her father, Joe Smith. She leaves behind husband, Tim Thomason, daughters, Chelsea Thomason (Misty Perkins), Natalie Thomason, mother, Sherrie Smith, brother, John Carol Smith "Buddy", and many extended relatives. A celebration of life will take place at a later date.
