Oretha Carol Reasoner

Mrs. Oretha Carol Waits Reasoner passed October 22, 2023. The arrangements are under the direction of Wise Funeral Home, Bonham, TX.

Oretha was born in Gladewater, Texas on December 9th, 1940 to Harley Waits, and Genice Cunningham Waits. Some of Oretha's hobbies included a love for reading, taking care of her yard, but mostly being a caretaker for her family and friends.

Oretha was preceded in death by her parents, her sisters, Doris Waits and Dorothy Copeland, brothers, Charles Waits, Mike Waits, and son Steven Lindauer.

Oretha is preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy Reasoner.

She is survived by her sister, Jean Medcalf of Emmett, Idaho, daughters, Elaine Grigg (Larry) of Ravenna, Texas; daughter, Doris Dent (Jim) of Colleyville Texas, and very special niece, Vickie Glover of Rowlett, Texas, stepchildren Jim Reasoner (Kim) Adkins of Fort Worth, numerous grandchildren, and great grandchildren.

Please join the family on October 24, 2023 at Wise Funeral Home Chapel at 1:00pm for a celebration of life service. Pastor Kevin Lane will be officiating.
