Neil Duane Woodson

Graveside services for Neil Duane Woodson, age 86, a resident of Carrollton, TX will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, January 26, 2019 at Willow Wild Cemetery in Bonham, TX, under the direction of Wise Funeral Home. Officiating will be Bro. Rick Edwards. Neil passed away on January 22, 2019. He was born October 19, 1932 in Gober, TX to Oscar William Woodson & Estelle L Robinson Woodson.

Neil was married to Billie Jean Tracy from Bonham, TX on July 5, 1952. They were married for 65 years until her passing in May 2017. They had one son, Kenneth. He graduated from Gober High School and would later receive a Bachelor of Business Degree in Accounting from Arlington State College. Neil was also at one time a Certified Public Accountant. Neil was a veteran, serving in the United States Air Force from 1952 to 1956. He worked for 46 years at LTV Aerospace in Grand Prairie, Keycon Industries in Dallas and Texas Instruments in Richardson. He retired from Tl in 1998. Neil was a wonderful husband, a great Dad and a great Granddad.

Neil was preceded in death by his wife of 65 years, Billie Jean Tracy Woodson on May 22, 2017; parents, Oscar William Woodson & Estelle Robinson Woodson; brothers, Tom Woodson and Howard Woodson; sister, Mary Thomas.

Surviving are his son, Kenneth Duane Woodson and Joyce of Carrollton; two grandchildren, Bryan Christopher Woodson and wife Ashley of Frisco and Jeffrey Woodson and wife Whitney of McKinney; four great-grandchildren, Addyson Bolton, Carter Woodson, Finnley Woodson and Ryker Woodson; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and a host of friends.

The family will receive friends at 10-11 AM Saturday before service at Wise Funeral Home.
