NAOMI RUTH VICTORY

Graveside services for Naomi Ruth Victory, 89, of Conroe, formerly of Fannin County will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, May 11, 2011 in Willow Wild Cemetery under the direction of Wise Funeral Home. Dr. Gene Owen will officiate. Naomi passed away early Sunday morning, May 8, 2011 at Hearthstone Assisted Living in Conroe.

Naomi was born March 7, 1922 in Bailey, Texas, the daughter of Homer Bell Turner and Floy Bailey Turner. She married Ben Adair Victory, May 23, 1942 in Bonham, Texas, and he preceded her in death Dec. 19, 2000. Naomi was employed with Collins Radio in Richardson for over 30 years before retiring. She enjoyed making rag rugs and playing with her great grandson. Naomi was a member of First Baptist Church in Sherman. Naomi was preceded in death by her parents, two brother, Melroe Turner and Glenn Turner and two sisters, Dorothy McElhannon and Jean Davis.

She is survived by
Daughters, Candice Victory and Benita Jill Verinder (Wesley Herbert), all of Spring, TX,
Grandson, Johnathan Wesley Verinder (Lisa Marie) of Webster, TX,
Great Grandson, Benjamin Robert Verinder of Webster, TX
A number of nieces and nephews.
