Nancy Carolyn Simpson

Funeral services for Nancy Carolyn Cox Simpson, 73, of Bonham, will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, Jan. 25, 2012 at First Baptist Church under the direction of Wise Funeral Home. Rev. Brad Dardeganian and Rev. W. C. "Bill" Beasley will officiate. Burial will follow in Moores Chapel Cemetery. Nancy passed away Sunday, Jan. 22, 2011 at Wilson N. Jones Hospital in Sherman.
Nancy was born Oct. 31, 1938 in Dodd City, Texas, the daughter of James Lafayette (Daddy Jim) Cox and Lois Lorelle Cashion Cox (Mama Cox). She was a 1956 graduate of Bonham High School and attended Paris Junior College. Nancy was a member of First Presbyterian Church and helped in the preparation of the Common Ground Prayer Garden. She was a supporter of Relay for Life and Women Rock. Nancy was a fan of the Dallas Cowboys and enjoyed playing cards. She loved being a part of her grandchildren's activities. Nancy was preceded in death by her parents and 2 sisters, Lillian Walker and Mary Barron.
Nancy is survived by 3 Sons, Bret Simpson and wife, Sue Ann, Matt Simpson and wife, Channon and Jim Simpson and wife, Cheryl, all of Bonham, TX, Brother, Alton Cox and wife, Carol of Sherman, TX,
3 Sisters, Jimmie Lois Cosper of Dodd City, TX,Kathryn Renshaw of Bonham, TX, and Eleanor Perkins of Paris, TX, Grandchildren, Meagan Johnson and husband Anthony, James Simpson, Keeton Simpson, Kala Simpson, Garrett Simpson, Adam Simpson, Kori Simpson, Lane Simpson, and Clay Simpson, and 6 great grand dogs.
Numerous nieces and nephews, extended family and many friends.
Pallbearers will be John Shockley, Josh Shockley, Jake Shockley, Billy Stroud, Larry Simpson and Charles Cashion.
