Mollie Wright

Funeral services for Mrs. Mollie Wright, age 68, of Ravenna, will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, February 2, 2008 at Wise Funeral Home Chapel. Reverend Morgan Malone will officiate. Mollie passed away Tuesday, January 29, 2008 at Wilson N Jones Medical Center.

Mrs. Wright was born August 31, 1939 in Quannah, Texas, the daughter of the late Alta Williams Farris and Coleman Farris. She was a graduate of the class of 1957 from Fresno High School and Married Joe Wright in Las Vegas June 6, 1973. Mrs. Wright was a homemaker, Realtor for Century 21 in Las Vegas and a member of the Bonham First Baptist Church. She loved to cook and travel, crafts, making jewelry, scrap booking, sewing and gardening. She was a member of the Ladies Garden Club in Bonham. She collected Swans, and enjoyed opera and singing praise music. She shared many activities with her husband such as golfing, archery, woodworking and hunting (yes she actually hunted!), and once stalked and shot her husband?s truck! Her kill was the heater in the truck. Everything in life she did with exuberance and joy. She was our cheerleader, sounding board and confidant, wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She will be missed but is no longer in any restrictions that she can do and now she can look over all of her family and friends all at the same time.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother Al Farris, one sister Dorthea Farris, and a son Robert S. Collins Jr.

She is survived by:
Husband: Joseph Wright of Ravenna, TX
Sisters: Joy and husband, Ron Dunham of Bakersfield, CA
Gwynn Farris of Huntington Beach, CA
Sons: Michael Collins of Las Vegas, NV
Art and wife, Sonya Collins of Melissa, TX
