Mitchell Ray Waller

On Thursday, July 25, 2024, Mitchell "Mitch" Ray Waller was welcomed into Heaven and into the loving arms of Jesus after a 4 year battle with cancer. Mitch was only 59 years old and passed away with his loving family by his side.

Mitch was born on January 20, 1965 in McKinney, Texas to Kenneth Wayne and JoAnn (Peak) Waller. The Waller Family settled in Prosper, TX where Mitch grew up on a farm and attended primary, secondary, and graduated from Prosper High School in 1983. Mitch married Tonia Bull on August 3, 1984 and lost her tragically just 1.5 years later. He later remarried and that union blessed him with three wonderful children, Brooklynn, Landon, and Garrett.

When he was least expecting it the Lord brought Debbie Kerr Jones into his life. Not only was she his best friend, but she was the love he had spent his entire life looking for. Debbie unconditionally loved, supported, and took care of Mitch during his valiant battle with cancer. Her children became his and the love that was sowed in these last four years wrote a beautiful love story.

Family was at the heart of Mitch. He enjoyed family cookouts, holiday celebrations, and the precious time spent with his grandchildren. A perfect day for Mitch was riding the Harley with his sons or going mudding with Debbie on the side by side. Mitch lived each day knowing that tomorrow was not promised. He enjoyed camping, hunting, fishing, and aggravating the people he loved most. If he played jokes on you then you knew he loved you.

Those that greeted Mitch at Heaven's Gate, first wife Tonia Waller, parents, Kenneth and JoAnn Waller, sister, Vicki Haggard, brother, Richard Waller, and niece Amy Waller.

Left to carry on his memory, fiancé, Debbie Kerr Jones, children, Brooklynn Smith (Daniel), Landon Waller, Garrett Torres, Delaney McGuire (Tony), Jordan Jones (Ryan), brothers, Earnest Waller (Nancy), Curtis Waller (Mary Ann), sister, Terry Perry (Benny), sister in law Michelle Waller, ex-wife, Jodi Walters, grandchildren, Bowen Smith, Luka Smith, Brooklyn Graham, Waylon Graham, Broedy McGuire, Fynn McGuire, nieces, Laura Duree (Michael), Danielle Brenner, Krista Waller, Cortney Law (Eric), Tiffany Ballard, Meghan Arant (Kevin), nephews, Nathan Waller (Rachel), Jeremy Waller (Amy), Justin Perry (Kelli), Michael Perry (Stefanie), Brandon Perry (Brittany), David Perry, along with many great nieces and nephews, extended family, and friends who have become family.

Please join the family to honor the life of Mitch on Tuesday, July 30, 2024 @Wise Funeral Home starting with a 10:00am visitation. The service will be at 11:00 and burial will follow at Cottage Hill Cemetery, Celina, TX.
