Mikel Anthony Tong

Funeral services for Mr. Mikel Anthony Tong, age 49, of Bonham, will be held at 11:00 A.M. Monday, September 29, 2014 in the Wise Funeral Home Chapel at 219 W. Sam Rayburn Dr. Bonham, Texas 75418. Dr. Terry Smith will officiate. Mikel passed away on September 26, 2014 at his residence near Bonham, Texas. He was born in Scobey, MT on September 23, 1965, the youngest child of Carl Adolph and Joyce (Thomas) Tong.
Mikel attended Scobey Schools and graduated from Scobey High School in 1984. After attending NDSSS in Wahpeton, ND, he worked off-shore seismograph for years traveling around the world, with short periods of working on land.
Mikel and Carla Frisco were married in Waco, TX on July 24, 1992. They have two children—Dustin and Sloane.
Mikel was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Dennis and Carl; and sister, Lori (Ken) Erstad. He is survived by his daughter, Sloane, and son, Dustin, sisters Linda (Leonard) Hersel of Scobey, MT and Idell of Isleham, England; nephews, nieces, great-nieces, and many friends.
Mikel will be interred at the Daniels County Cemetery in Scobey, MT at a later date.
