Mike "Rabbit" Mcclure

Memorial services for Charles Michael "Mike", "Rabbit" McClure, 69, of Bonham, will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, Oct. 3, 2014 at Boyd Baptist Church under the direction of Wise Funeral Home. Rev. Rex Jackson will officiate. Mike passed away Tuesday, September 30, 2014 at Bonham Nursing Center.

Mike was born December 5, 1944 in Bonham, Texas, the son of Ernest G. "Toots" McClure and Anna Ruth Carter McClure. He attended Bonham schools and spent most of his lifetime farming. Mike married Wynell Malone on June 20, 1964 at First Baptist Church in Bonham, Texas. He loved spending time with his family, especially his grandkids. His passion was watching them play any and all sports – he was their greatest fan. Mike was a member of First Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Mike is survived by his wife, Wynell McClure of Bonham, Texas;
son, Keith McClure of Bonham, Texas; daughter, Kristi Nelson and husband, Chris of Bonham, Texas; two sisters, Kay Abell and husband, Dan of Sherman, Texas and Ruth Ann Stubblefield and husband, Mike of Artesia, New Mexico; four grandchildren, Kelsee Nelson, Kaylee Nelson, Jarred McClure and Keitha McPherson and husband, Kevin; two
great grandchildren, Kayden McClure and Kendall McPherson; and a number of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Memorials may be made to the Ector ISD Athletic Department.
