Graveside services for Michael "Mike" Brent Goyne, age 70, of Savoy, will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, November 6, 2021, at the Moore's Chapel Cemetery Pavilion, Bonham, TX, under the direction of Wise Funeral Home in Bonham. The viewing will begin at 1:00 PM until the time of service at 2:00PM. He will be inurned at a later date. Mike passed away unexpectedly of natural causes on October 31, 2021, at the Texoma Medical Center in Denison.
Mike was born in Wichita, Kansas, the son of Claude Brent Goyne and Alberta Louise McGowan Goyne. After graduating from Bonham High School in 1969, he attended Paris Junior College before receiving his Associates degree in Psychology from Spokane Falls Community College and completing his schooling at DeVry Institute of Technology. A United States Veteran, Mike served in the Air Force during the Vietnam War as a cryptographic technician. He was a beloved instructor and trainer for Tokyo Electron in the Semiconductor Industry for over 20 years. Mike enjoyed spending time with friends, family and loved ones, golfing, and especially playing with his grandchildren. His humor, love and kindness will be greatly missed by so many.
He was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Ellen Bradley, niece, Shannon Bradley, and his granddaughter, Harlow Noyes.
He is survived by his wife, Aleta "Ali" Goyne of Savoy, daughters, Lauren Bradley and her husband Rex of Charlotte, North Carolina, Amanda Noyes and her husband Ryan of Dallas, son Aaron Hammett of Yelm, Washington, grandchildren, Aurelia Noyes and Guy Bradley, extended family and a host of friends.
