Melba Harris

Melba Harris, a woman full of love and creativity, passed away peacefully on July 31, 2025, at Medical City Plano at the age of 67. Born on May 14, 1958, Melba's life was characterized by her joyous spirit and her innate ability to find beauty in the most ordinary things.

Melba's zest for life was evident in her eclectic interests. She found pleasure in the simple delight of a McDonald's Frappe and the thrill of discovering treasures at yard sales and thrift stores. Her passion for decor was not just a hobby but a reflection of her artistic soul.

A gifted seamstress and quilter, Melba channeled her creativity into sewing clothes and crafting quilts that were as much pieces of art as they were expressions of her care and affection.

Above all, Melba loved her family. She will be dearly missed by all that knew her.
