Mava May Schreiber

Mava May Schreiber, age 79, of Bonham, formerly of St. Louis, Missouri, passed away on Wednesday, January 24, 2018 at Beacon Hill in Denison, Texas. The family will receive friends at Wise Funeral Home, 219 W. Sam Rayburn Dr. Bonham, Texas from 6:00-8:00 PM on Friday, January 26, 2018.

A viewing will be from 6:00 – 8:00 PM Monday, January 29th and funeral services will be held 10:00 AM Tuesday, January 30, 2018 at the Yarber Mortuary, 621 E 5th St, Mountain View, MO 65548. Burial will follow at the Bethlehem Cemetery in Oregon County near Birch Tree, Missouri.

Mava was born on May 6, 1938 in Thomasville, Missouri, the daughter of Omer "Doc" Pierce and Helen Combs Pierce. She married Michael H. Schreiber on August 19, 1974 in Abilene, Texas and moved to Fannin County in August of 1995. She enjoyed oil painting and water coloring and loved her cats dearly. She was a legal secretary for Bank Building Corporation in St. Louis, Missouri and later became a business coordinator for SEMCO manufacturing air handler company in Columbia, Missouri. After moving to the Bonham area, she worked for American Bank of Texas for nine years in the Real Estate Department. Up until her death, she and her husband Mike managed Four Seasons Preferred Realty and Four Seasons Manufactured Buildings.

She is survived by her husband of 43 years, Michael Schreiber; daughter, Renee Mims; son, Jim Schreiber (Jill);
Sister, Judy Thompson; brother, Bill Pierce; grandchildren; Michael, William, Brandon and Justin (Sierra)
Nieces, nephews, extended family and a host of friends
