Mary Rosalee Victory Park passed away in the early morning of September 23rd, 2016 at the Seven Oaks Nursing Home in Bonham, Texas. She had just celebrated her 99th birthday. Rosalee was born near Leonard, Texas on September 10, 1917, daughter of Ben and Geneva Victory. She lived in Fannin County all of her life.
Rosalee joined the Baptist Church at the age of eleven, and has been a member of the Calvary Baptist Church for many years. She worked at the Bonham Textile Mill, ran the Bonham Kindergarten for twelve years, and retired from the Fannin County Hospital after working for ten years.
Rosalee leaves two sons, Jerry R. Park and wife Sara of Lake Texoma, and Dennis D. Park of Bonham. Two granddaughters, Ashley Park Lamont and Jeff of Dallas, and Paige Park Green and Cannon of Southlake. Four great-grandchildren, Lauren Avery Green and Zachary Chase Green of Southlake, Claudia Laine Lamont and Allison Ivy Lamont of Dallas.
Rosalee was preceded in death by her husband of 75 years, Walter D. Park, her parents, four sisters, Lela Mae Hembree, Cleo Dopson, Oleta Lasater and Nettie Daughtery and one brother, Ben Adair Victory.
Graveside services for Rosalee will be held on Saturday, September 24, 2016 at 3:30 P.M. at the Willow Wild Cemetery in Bonham. Family will receive friends at Wise Funeral Home in Bonham from 1:00 P.M. until service time on Saturday.
Honorary pallbearers will be Dennis and Jerry Park, Cannon and Chase Green and Jeff LaMont, Steve and Keith Hembree, Phillp Dopson, and Mark and Ken Lasater.
