Mary Jane Tomlinson Deloach

Graveside services for Mary Jane DeLoach, 96, of Bonham, will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, May 25, 2014 in New Hope Cemetery under the direction of Wise Funeral Home. Her family will officiate. Mary passed away Friday morning, May 23, 2014 at The Woodmore Assisted Living in Bonham.
Mary was born Dec. 30, 1917 in Ivanhoe, Texas, the daughter of John Jefferson Freeman and Jimmie Beatrice Avants Freeman. She attended schools in Duplex and graduated from Bonham High School. Mary married James Cornelius Tomlinson in Leonard, Texas and he preceded her in death June 11, 1974. She later married Johnie DeLoach who preceded her in death May 19, 1993. Mary was a member of First Christian Church. She was a homemaker and worked for a number of years in the cafeteria at Sam Rayburn ISD. She enjoyed reading and loved spending time with her family. Mary was preceded in death by her parents, 4 brothers, Bernice Freeman, Finnis Freeman, Denny Freeman and Ray Freeman and 3 sisters, Ann Wayland, Alvie Underwood and Faye Ballard.
Mary is survived by three sons, Jimmy Tomlinson and wife, Carol of North Richland Hills, Texas, Joe Tomlinson and wife, Regeana of Bonham, Texas and Jeff Tomlinson and wife, Chris of Sherman, Texas;
two daughters, Janie Castle of Bonham, Texas and Nita Vaughn and husband, Jackie of Granbury, Texas; 11 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews, extended family and friends.
