Funeral services for Mary Syble Patton, 82, of Ivanhoe, will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, March 7, 2015 in Wise Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Rocky Watts and Rev Phillip Mathis will officiate. Burial will follow in Forest Grove Cemetery in Telephone, Texas. Syble passed away Wednesday night, March 4, 2015 at her residence.
Syble was born April 17, 1932 in Plantersville, Mississippi the daughter of Carl Frasure and Evie Peters Frasure. She graduated from high school in Mississippi. Syble married Eric McVay Patton on August 31, 1950 in Marks, Mississippi, and he preceded her in death Apr. 21, 2004. Syble was a member of Telephone Baptist Church. She enjoyed sewing and spending time with her children and grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, a daughter, Pamela Kay Graham, a brother, Spencer Frasure, and four sisters, Estelle Waldo, Josie Allen, Nell Walton, and Marie Douglas.
Syble is survived by her son, Gary Patton and wife, Karla of Ivanhoe, Texas; daughter, Jennifer Patton of Telephone, Texas; brother: L.A. Frasure of Randolph, Mississippi; sisters, Jimmie Warren and Melba Warren, both of Pontotoc, Mississippi, Louise Douglas of Randolph, Mississippi, and Lula Allen of Sardis Lake, Mississippi; grandchildren, Mandy Workman, Lindsay Dobbles, Cory Patton, Tiffany Prock, Jarrett Prock, Joel Graham and Mathew Graham; and
15 great grandchildren, Marissa, Kain, Baileigh, Audrie, Allie, Emory, Eli, Ike, Witt, Hadley, Kayla, Courtney, Hayden, Grant and Gavin.
Pallbearers will be Mathew Graham, Joel Graham, Cory Patton, Jarrett Prock, Shawn Dobbles and Jerry Workman.
