Funeral services for Mary Lou Kissinger, 93, of Bonham, will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, March 30, 2012 at Wise Funeral Home Chapel. Pastor Liz Talbert will officiate. Burial with Eastern Star honors will follow in Burns Cemetery in Trenton, TX. Mary Lou passed away Tuesday, March 27, 2012 at Seven Oaks Nursing & Rehab in Bonham.
Mary Lou was born Aug. 4, 1918 in Fannin County, Texas, the daughter of Earl Brown Dockery and Freda Frances Keller Dockery. She was a graduate of Trenton High School and attended Grayson County College. Mary Lou married O. M. Kissinger, and he preceded her in death in 1969. She was a bookkeeper for Kissinger Motor Co. and Ashlock Motors and loved to sell cars. She grew up in the First United Methodist Church in Trenton, TX and later moved her membership to First United Methodist Church in Bonham. Mary Lou was a charter member of the Whitewright Chapter of the Eastern Star and had been a member of the Bonham Chapter #852 of the Eastern Star for many years. With 50 plus years of membership, she served as Worthy Matron a number of times. She was also a member of the DAR. Mary Lou enjoyed traveling to foreign countries with her sister and weekly luncheons with her lady friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, 2 brothers, James Earl Dockery (killed in WWII) and Edward F. "Dick" Dockery and 2 sisters, Julia Benita Shinpaugh and Mae Evelyn Wilson.

Helen Frances Row of Lubbock, TX,
and Paula Jean Graham and husband, Archie of Garland, TX and Numerous nieces and nephews.
