Mary Ada Hayes Smith

Graveside Services for Mary Ada Smith, age 94, of Austin will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, January 22, 2017 at Forest Grove Cemetery in Telephone, under the direction of Wise Funeral Home. Mary passed away Tuesday, January 19, 2017.
She was born September 21, 1922, the daughter of Turner and Lillian Hayes. Mary is preceded in death by her husband of 35 years, Othel Smith in 1982, and by her parents. She was a member of the Church of Christ. She enjoyed collecting rocks and antiques; and growing flowers. One of her greatest loves was to cook for her family.
Mary is survived by her daughter Alecia Ragan and husband Lawrence, two grandsons, Sean and Glen Ragan, and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends at the Telephone Community Center, immediately following the service.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Medina Children's Home, 21300 TX-16, Medina, TX 78055.
