Mary Alice Barron, 89, passed away on Wednesday, March 16, 2011, at Mullican Care Center in Savoy, Texas. Services will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, March 19, 2011, at Wise Funeral Home Chapel in Bonham, Texas. Burial will follow in Moores Chapel Cemetery.

Born June 30, 1921 in Fannin County, Texas, to James L. "Jim" Cox and Lois L. Cashion Cox, she graduated as Valedictorian from Windom High School in 1939. On Feb. 20, 1940, she married Billie Joe Clark. They enjoyed 43 years of marriage until his death in 1983. On March 28, 1986, she married Howard Lamar Barron, who preceded her in death in 1988.

A devoted wife and mother, Mary dedicated her life to caring for her home and family. She was a faithful member of the Seventh-Day Adventist Church for many years, and later became a founding member of Heron Street Chapel in Denison, TX.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husbands, and one sister, Lillian Walker.

Eight great grandchildren and one great great grandchild
Numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Brian Clark, Kyle Clark, James Clark, Jan Clark, Justin Howell and Joey Gilmore.
