Cremation Arrangements for Mary Gail Cook, age 74, of Plano, Texas will be under the direction of Wise Funeral Home. Mary passed away Thursday morning at Medical Center of McKinney in McKinney, Texas.

Mary was born on November 25, 1946, in Clarksville, Texas, the daughter of J. N. Durham and Mary Lee McCullough Durham. She Married Ronald Wayne Cook on July 29, 1966, in Telephone, Texas. They were married 55 years prior to her passing. Mary enjoyed gardening. She liked to surf Facebook, socializing with friends and family. Mary's favorite pastime was reading gothic romance novels; the Twilight Saga being one of her favorites. She was a loving wife and mother. Mary will be greatly missed. She is preceded in death by her parents and sisters, Rita, Hazel, and Patricia.

Mary is survived by her husband Ronald Wayne Cook of Plano, Texas; sons, Michael Dwayne Cook of Princeton, Texas and Ronald Wayne Cook Jr. of North Carolina; granddaughter, Kendra Cook; extended family and a host of friends.
