Graveside services for Mary Ellen Bartlett, 92, of Bonham, will be held at 10:00 AM Friday, March 25, 2016 at Arledge Ridge Cemetery under the direction of Wise Funeral Home. Bro. Mark Posey will officiate. Mary passed away Wednesday morning, March 23, 2016 at her residence.
Mary was born October 3, 1923 in Bonham, Texas, the daughter of Robert Lee Edwards and Hazel Ellen Stapleton Edwards. She married Jesse Rannel Bartlett on July 7, 1978 in Fort Worth, Texas, and he preceded her in death Dec. 18, 1993. Mary was a self-employed seamstress and was of the Methodist faith. She was preceded in death by her parents, three sisters, Gracie Lee Taylor, Reba D. Devault, and Alaska Beatrice Justice, and a niece, Karen Sue Taylor Maeder.
Mary is survived by her son, Dwaine Hodges of Watauga, Texas; niece, Shirley Crable and husband, Bill of Bonham, Texas; nephew, Robert Lee Taylor and wife, Robin of Bonham, Texas; grandson, Cole Hodges and two great grandchildren, Kenzie and Brenlee Hodges
