Marvin Thomas Lamberson

Memorial services for Mr. Marvin Thomas Lamberson, age 77, of Bonham, will be held at 2:00 PM Monday, January 18, 2021 at the Wise Funeral Home Chapel.   Mr. Lamberson passed away on January 10, 2021 in Wylie, Texas surrounded by his loved ones.  Private family inurnment will follow at a later date at Fannin Memorial Gardens Cemetery.

He was born on December 2, 1943, Phoenix, Arizona, the son of Hugh Clyde Lamberson and Donileta "Donnie" Goodin. He married Hazel Joyce Durham in 1979 in Edhube, Texas and she preceded her in death on November 23, 2020.  He attended schools in Edhube and Bonham and was a race car enthusiast, especially dirt track races and working in the automotive industry.  He was employed at the O'Reilly Auto Parts in Bonham and he loved it there.  He was an auto fan and enjoyed NASCAR races.  He was preceded in death by sister, Linda Lamberson.

He is survived by his son, Stephen Oliver of Durant, Oklahoma; daughters, Lisa Robinson of Wylie and Stacy Smith of Arkansas; sisters, Diane Coston and Kay Feagan ; grandchildren, Kenzie Herndon, Jimbo Smith, Emma Smith, Brittany Oliver, Christina Stinson, Stephen Oliver Jr., Stacy Oliver, James Oliver, Tremaine Howard, Tearony Howard, T'myra Steward, and Tristan Steward; great grandchildren, Ke'Myra Woodard, Amy Oliver, Naomi Howard and Bella Owens; extended family and a host of friends.
