Graveside services for Martin Robert "Marty" McMillan, 58, of Bonham, will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday, Oct. 19, 2016 in Willow Wild Cemetery under the direction of Wise Funeral Home. Rev. Rick Edwards will officiate. Marty passed away Monday morning, Oct. 17, 2016 at Texoma Medical Center-Bonham Hospital.
Marty was born July 27, 1958 in Cincinnati, Ohio, son of Roy David McMillan and Joan "Jody" Lawrence McMillan. He was a 1976 graduate of Bonham High School and attended Paris Junior College and Ouachita Baptist University in Arkadelphia, Arkansas. Marty was the grounds keeper at Legacy Ridge and enjoyed crossword puzzles, golf and sports. He was of the Baptist faith. Marty was preceded in death by his father and a brother, David Terry McMillan.
Marty is survived by his Mother, Jody McMillan of Bonham, Texas;
Sister, Patsy McMillan Richardson and husband, Mike of Bonham, Texas; Nephew, Chad Richardson and wife, Amanda; Nieces, Audrey Richardson and Nikki Russell and husband, Justin; Uncle, Ben Lawrence and wife, Carolyn of Bonham, Texas; Extended family and friends.
