Mark Edward Bewley

Mark Edward Bewley, age 67, of Waco, Texas, passed away on November 14, 2023, after succumbing to his battle against cancer.

Mark was born on February 11, 1956, to Johnnie and Annabel Bewley in Mineral Wells, Texas. After Mark graduated from Bonham High School in 1974, he went on to study Industry and Technology at East Texas State University, Commerce. After graduating with his bachelor's degree, he started his first job at General Cable as a Zoombak Technician. During his subsequent years at General Cable, Mark advanced his career and worked as a Director of Quality Assurance, Vice President of Quality, and promoted to the status of Plant Manager. Mark later went on to be a Plant Manager at TxF Products, Manner Plastics, and Swan Products.

Mark was preceded in death by his parents, Johnnie and Annabel Bewley.

He is survived by his son Dustin Bewley and wife Leslie, son Colt Bewley and wife Sharena, and daughter Jordon (Bewley) Triplett and husband Ray. Mark's grandchildren are Dakota Bewley, Melissa (Bewley) Payan and husband Luis, Harlin Bewley, Anna Bewley, Raymond Triplett, Rylee Triplett, Reece Triplett, Zane Bewley and Cooper Bewley. Mark's siblings are brother John Bewley and wife Judy, Sister Sue Ann Simpson and husband Bret. His niece is Meagen (Simpson) Works and husband Cody, and nephew James Simpson and wife Christine.

While Mark enjoyed deer hunting, fishing and playing disc golf, his favorite role was that of a grandfather. He treasured his time with his grandkids and loved being their Papaw and Grandpa Mark, never failing to crack jokes and share a plethora of love.

Visitation will take place on Thursday, November 16, 2023, from 6-8pm at Wise Funeral Home in Bonham, Texas. A funeral service will be held at Wise Funeral Home Chapel on November 17, 2023, at 10:00am. Burial will follow at Arledge Ridge Cemetery, Bonham, TX.
