Marinelle Woodson Hodnett

Marinelle Woodson Hodnett passed away on March 14, 2024 in Bonham, TX.

Marinelle was born to parents, Raynell and Hazel Marie Woodson on July 21, 1937 in Bonham, TX. The family then moved to Dumas, TX and Marinelle worked on a ranch with her father Raynell for many decades. She was a cowgirl through and through. She loved riding horses, taking care of the cattle, and working the land. In her later years she moved back to her hometown of Bonham to be close to her son Shawn. In Marinelle's spare time she enjoyed gardening and listening to George Strait. She will be fondly remembered for her devotion to family and diligent spirit.

She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Tommy Hodnett, and parents.

Marinelle is survived by son, Shawn Hodnett and wife Darla, grandson, Tommy Hodnett and wife Alexandria and two great grandchildren, Ryder and Presleigh Grace Hodnett.
