Marcia Daye Daniel

Graveside services for Marcia Daye Daniel, 61, of Bonham, will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, June 19, 2022 in Willow Wild Cemetery, Bonham, TX, under the direction of Wise Funeral Home.  Rev. Brandon Dona will officiate.  Marcia passed away Thursday, June 16, 2022 at her residence surrounded by her family following a courageous battle with cancer.

Marcia was born Oct. 7, 1960 in Thibodaux, Louisiana, the daughter of Woodrow Wilson Wilcox and Gladys Daye Reaves Wilcox.  She was a 1979 graduate of Hamilton High School in Hamilton, Texas.  Marcia married Jon Dale Daniel on Feb. 19, 1998 in Durant, Oklahoma.  She enjoyed cooking, gardening, reading, shopping, and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.  Marcia attended Anchor Baptist Church in Bonham.  She was preceded in death by her parents, four sisters, Earline Wilcox Odeneal, Geraldine Wilcox Adams, Jane Wilcox Mire, and Marilyn Thomas Chaney and two brothers, Harold Clay and Roger Clay.

Marcia leaves to cherish her memories, her husband, Jon Daniel of Bonham, TX; her daughter, Christi Fox (Sam) of Bonham;  son, Chris Daniel (Katy) of Bonham; brother, Wayne Wilcox (Dot) of Thibodaux, LA;  sister, Bonnie Boyce (Bob) of Poplarville, MS; 11 grandchildren, Peyton Brownfield, Kendall Brownfield, Ceslay Daniel, Brionna Daniel, Ian Daniel, Jon Daniel, Taylor Fox, Brandon Fox, Hunter Fox, Haiden Loftice and Lexi Loftice; 3 great grandchildren, Blakelyn Fox, Kylee Fox and Luka Fox; mother-in-law, Margaret Daniel of Bonham and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends.

Pallbearers will be Sam Fox, Tim Butler, David Flippo, Tim Hughes, Peyton Brownfield, Taylor Fox, Chris Daniel and Van Odeneal.
