Mamie Diane Roy, age 81, passed away peacefully in Yuma, Arizona on June 26, 2026. Arrangements are under the direction of Wise Funeral Home, Bonham, TX. 

Diane was born on December 23, 1944, and lived a life filled with simple pleasures and a deep love for her family. She found great joy in the quiet challenge of word search puzzles, the escape of good movies, and the entertainment of reality television. She also loved the excitement of trips to the casino, always embracing the fun and energy of the games. 

Preceding her in death were her parents, Arnell Conway and Mamie Conway Nichols, brothers William, Sherry and Richard Conway.

Diane is now reunited with her beloved husband, Clyde T. Roy, who also preceded her in death.

Her legacy of love lives on through her surviving family. She is survived by her two devoted sons, Billy W. Roy and Glen T. Roy. She was a proud grandmother to four grandchildren, Lindsey Burney, Stephanie Contreras, Nathalie Contreras, and Christopher Contreras. She also leaves behind seven cherished great-grandchildren who brought immense joy to her later years. 

Family and friends are invited to gather to honor her life on Sunday, July 12, 2026 at 11am for visitation and then together we can make our way out to Arledge Ridge Cemetery in Bonham, TX.
