Makesha Schantel Elliott

Funeral services for Makesha Schantel Elliott, 34, of Bonham, will be held at 12:00 noon Wednesday, Sept. 14, 2016 at Bethlehem Baptist Church under the direction of Wise Funeral Home. Pastor Stuart Courtney, Rev. Cecil Jones and Associate Pastor Charles Woods will officiate. Burial will follow in Fannin Memorial Gardens, Bonham, Texas. Makesha passed away Wednesday, Sept. 7, 2016 at Texoma Medical Center in Denison.

Makesha was born June 20, 1982 in Sherman, Texas the daughter of Richard Louis Elliott, Jr. and Roberta Venitha Swindall Elliott. She was a graduate of Bonham High School and enjoyed music and dancing. Her favorite song was "Put Five On It". Makesha was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church and Children's Medical Center research. She was dedicated to God and her church. Makesha was a happy person who loved her family and never complained. She loved people and never met a stranger. Makesha was preceded in death by her grandmother, Roberta Swindall Crowley, grandparents, Rev. Swink and Fannie Elisher, and Richard Elliott Sr. and Charlie Mae Elliott and aunt, Frankie L. Thornton.

Mother, Roberta Elliott of Bonham, Texas
Father and stepmother, Richard & Vanessa Elliott of Bonham, Texas
Brothers, Richard DeShawn Elliott and Damien Adolphus Stewart, both of Bonham, Texas
Sisters, Amelia Jones of Sherman, Texas
Shanae Watson and husband, Jason of Sherman, Texas
Aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

The family will receive friends at 11:00 AM until service time, Wednesday, Sept. 14, 2016.
