Funeral Services for Lynn Yvorn Bruner of Ivanhoe, age 84, will be on
Wednesday, September 5, 2018 at 10:00 AM at Wise Funeral Home Chapel in Bonham,
with Rev. Mike Burt officiating. Interment will follow at New Hope Cemetery in Ivanhoe. Lynn passed away on August 31, 2018. He was born July 25, 1934 in Ivanhoe to John Preston Bruner & Melissa Estelle Freeman Bruner.
At the age of 16 Lynn moved to Dallas where he married Patsy Earline Davis. In 1962, he and his family moved to Denver, CO where he worked for Red Ball Motor Freight and Associated Grocers inspiring him to open his own successful business as a fleet mechanic and as an auto mechanic for individuals. In the 80's he and Patsy returned to Texas. He enjoyed carpentry, Elk and Deer hunting, fishing and his cows. He was loved by everyone who knew him and was full of joy and laughter.
Lynn was preceded in death by his wife, Patsy Davis Bruner; parents, John Preston Bruner & Melissa Freeman Bruner; son, Lynn Y. Bruner, Jr., brothers, Raphael Bruner and Truman R. Bruner. sisters, Lila Mavis Byrd and Koleta Little.
Surviving are his sister, Gretell German of Garland; his daughter, Pamela Bruner of Bonham; son, Barry Bruner and his wife Linda of Bug Tussle; grandchildren - Lynn III, John, Preston, Trina, Tara, Barry Jr., and Erika; fifteen great-grandchildren; and many nephews and nieces; and his girlfriend Leavoughn Tadlock.
An open visitation will be Tuesday, September 4 from 8:00 AM until 8:00 PM at Wise Funeral Home in Bonham
