Luka Antonio Huerta

Luka Antonio Huerta was born on December 26, 2022, at 6:30 a.m. to his parents Ashley Huerta and Daniel Diaz at Baylor Scott and White Medical Center in McKinney, Tx. He weighed 7 pounds, 13 ounces and was 19 and 3/4 inches long. He passed away on January 6, 2023.

While Luka's time on earth was short, he touched the hearts of many and brought great joy and overwhelming love to those around him. Luka was a pure soul. Luka loved watching Seinfeld with his daddy and being held close in the arms of his mommy. He experienced an endless amount of hugs, kisses, and hand holding with his mommy and daddy. Luka brought laughter to his loved ones when guessing whose features he had and imagining who he would look like when he grew up. Luka would always break free from his swaddle to be able to hold his giraffe pacifier, and he loved kisses from his grandpa because of his scratchy beard. He was told endless times "I love you". Luka was a loving son, brother, grandson, and cousin.  He will be dearly missed by all who knew him and got to experience his precious life.

He is survived by his mother, Ashley Huerta; father Daniel Diaz; brothers Lorenzo Huerta and Elliott Diaz; grandparents: Laura Stowe, Juan Huerta, and Tim and Sadellia Snodgrass; numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

"You are our greatest gift, truly a miracle baby. We love you and one day we will hold you in our arms in Heaven, Bubba" - Mommy and Daddy.

Visitation will be held at 6:00 p.m. Friday, January 13, 2023 at Wise Funeral Home Bonham, Tx. Funeral Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, January 14, 2023 at Calvary Baptist Church, Bonham, Tx with burial to follow at Willow Wild Cemetery, Bonham, Tx.
