Louise Diffin

Funeral services for Louise Diffin, 84, of Bonham will be held at 10:00 A.M. Monday, October 7, 2013 in Wise Funeral Home Chapel. Bro. Mark Posey will officiate. Burial will follow in Mulberry Cemetery. Louise passed away, on her mother's birthday, Friday, October 4, 2013 at Clyde W. Cosper Texas State Veterans Home in Bonham.

Louise was born November 24, 1928 in Whitesboro, Texas, daughter of A. E. Sewell and Edna Mae Newsom Sewell. She attended schools in Whitesboro. Louise married J. P. Pond on Nov. 27, 1943, and he preceded her in death in 2008. She married John Diffin on June 6, 1987 and he preceded her in death, Sept. 6, 2003. Louise was a member of First Baptist Church in Bonham and the Golden K Kiwanis. She was a seamstress and owned and operated Louise's Bits & Pieces Fabrics. She enjoyed a number of hobbies. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Kenneth Sewell.
