Funeral Services for Lou Ann Galaway, age 81 of Leonard, TX will be held at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, January 16, 2019 at Wise Funeral Home Chapel in Bonham, Texas. Officiating will be Rev. Glynn Tyson. Interment will follow at Arledge Ridge Cemetery in Bonham, TX. Lou passed away on January 12, 2019. She was born January 1, 1938 in Athens, TX to Hubert Clay Wright & Myrtle Doris Lamb Wright.

Lou married Eddie Lee Galaway on December 6, 1957 in Athens, TX. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Bailey. She enjoyed crossword puzzles and loved looking for deals at garage sales and Goodwill. Her greatest joy was being a grandmother and great-grandmother.

Lou Ann was preceded in death by her parents, Charles Hester Hart & Myrtle Lamb Hart; son, Bradford Wayne Galaway.

Surviving are her husband of 61 years, Eddie Lee Galaway; three daughters, Leigh Ann Schedule and husband Jerald of Athens, Shelley Williams of Van Alstyne and Robin Kay Galaway of Sherman; son, Charles Wright Galaway of Bonham; six grandchildren, Stephanie DeWitt and husband Jason of Little Rock, AR and Tiffany McDonald and husband Jeremy of Athens, Clay Williams of Van Alstyne and Mallory Losh and husband Joseph of Van Alstyne, Rachael Boone and husband Jeremy of New Braunfels and London Galaway of Dallas; six great-grandchildren, TyAnne McDonald. Hadley DeWitt, Marley Galaway, Ophelia and Inica Boone and Joseph Dax Losh.

The family will receive friends at 6-8 PM Tuesday, January 15, 2019 at Wise Funeral Home.
