Lona Jane Brian

May 20, 1933 — March 23, 2017

Funeral services for Mrs. Lona Jane "Janie" Brian, age 83, of Richardson, will be held at the Savoy United Pentecostal Church 519 E. Hayes (Hwy 56) Savoy, Texas at 11:00 A.M. Monday, March 27, 2017. Pastor Virgil Cornwell, Bishop Jerry L. Sanders and Pastor David Chapman will officiate. A private family burial will follow at Willow Wild Cemetery in Bonham under the direction of Wise Funeral Home in Bonham, Texas. Mrs. Brian passed away at the Presbyterian Hospital of Dallas on March 23, 2017.

Mrs. Brian was born on May 20, 1933 in Hobart, Oklahoma, the daughter of John Anderson and Edna Mae Teters Anderson. She married Jack Ronald Brian on September 22, 1950 in San Antonio, Texas. She was a member of the Pentecostals of Mesquite Church and enjoyed helping with her son's missionary work in Haiti. She also enjoyed her gardening and flowers and traveling with her husband.

She is survived by:

Sharlene Van Cleve and husband Curtis of Richardson
Sister: Bertha Moreau
13 Grandchildren
Numerous Great Grandchildren and extended family and a host of friends

Pallbearers will be Terry Van Cleve, Tracey Van Cleve, Barry Van Cleve, Michael Van Cleve, Ronnie Van Cleve, Alvin Travis, Victor Brian, Scott Brian and Jonathan Brian.
