Lois Tredway

Graveside services for Mrs. Lois Tredway, age 92, of Richardson, Texas, will be held at 12:00 PM Noon on Saturday, November 7, 2020 at the Willow Wild Cemetery in Bonham, Texas, under the direction of Wise Funeral Home.  Rev. Paul Wedaa and Michael Nance will officiate.  Mrs. Tredway passed away on November 2, 2020 at a hospital in Carrollton, Texas.

She was born on March 27, 1928 in Dodd City, Texas, the daughter of Francis Albert May and Lula Arvilla Foreman May.  She was a 1945 graduate of Windom High School and married H.C. "Dick" Tredway on February 6, 1946 in Bonham, Texas and he preceded her in death on July 22, 1982.  She was a member of the Waterview Baptist Church in Richardson and was employed at Taylor Publishing in Dallas from 1959-1993 when she retired.  Her primary job was publishing yearbooks.  Mrs. Tredway was preceded in death by her sons, Samuel S. "Sammy" Tredway on January 6, 2014 and Eddie Tredway on October 23, 1997 and H.C. "Dick" Tredway Jr. on October 26, 2003, her brother James May in 2016 and sister Nona Louise May in 2001 and grandson, Brian Tredway.

She is survived by her grandchildren, Jason Tredway and wife Tori of Rowlett, Misty Ray and husband Steve of Palestine, Clint and wife Christine Tredway of Denton, and Christina Day and husband Jason of Garland and seven great grandchildren, Wesley, Gavin, Kaylee, Ryan, Jayden, Christopher, and Ashley and two great-great grandchildren Hayden and Allisyn.

The family will receive friends at Wise Funeral Home from 10:00 a.m. until service time on Saturday, November 7, 2020.
