Lois Alene Anderson

Funeral Services for Mrs. Lois Alene Anderson, 89, of Ravenna, will be held Tuesday, August 4, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at the Wise Funeral Home Chapel. Lois's Grandson, Bro. Steven Alexander will officiate. Burial will follow at Sandy Creek Cemetery. Lois passed away Friday night, July 31, 2015 at the Bonham Nursing Home.
Lois was born October 18, 1925 in the Sandy Community in Fannin County, Texas, the daughter of Henry Henson Davidson and Edith Viola Weaver Davidson. She married Grover Thomas "Tom" Anderson on November 22, 1941 in Durant, Oklahoma. Lois was a member of the sandy Baptist Church. She loved sewing, gardening, and being outdoors. She was preceded in death by her husband in 2007.
Lois is survived by her sons, Thomas Anderson (Carol) of Ravenna and Keith Anderson of Richmond; daughters, Katy Alexander (Woodie) of Achille, Oklahoma and Gail Anderson of Sherman; sisters, Cloetta Bennett of Durant, Laverne Myers of Denison, and Dorothy Loving (Jim) of Gordonville; 10 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, 4 great great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews, extended family and friends.
Pallbearers will be Bill Alexander, Kevin Seals, Paul Anderson, Doug Stutts, Steve Floyd, Brad Sammis, and Wes Roberts.
The Family will receive friends an hour prior to service time.
