Linda Louise Raper Goodroe

Linda Louise Raper Goodroe was born on July 12, 1941, and she passed away peacefully in her sleep on March 6, 2025 at the age of 83.

As we say goodbye to Linda, let's remember her zest for life, her endless love for family, and her ability to always find the bright side of any situation.  Remember friends as you pass by, as you are now, so once was I, but as I am now, you are sure to be, so prepare to die and follow me.

Linda is preceded in death by her husband, James Lee (Jim) Goodroe, parents, L.Q. Raper, Ester "Louise" Raper, and brother, L.Q (Sonny) Raper.

Those left to cherish her memory, children, James "Danny" Goodroe, Vivian "Lynn" Goodroe, Mary Goodroe, Cynthia "Cindy" Goodroe, Robert Goodroe, Lynda "Michelle" Ardoin, Stephen "Shawn" Ardoin, grandchildren, Jesse Falcon, Daniel Daley, great-grandchildren, Neka Holmes, Cody Caffery, numerous extended family in nephews, nieces, and cousins. A celebration of life will be Saturday, March 29, 2025 at 1pm at the Raper Family Home in Duckhill, MS.
