Linda Lou Grisham

Funeral services for Linda Lou Grisham 69, of Bonham, will be at 10:00 A.M. on Saturday; September 22, 2018 at Wise Funeral Home Chapel in Bonham.  Rev. Lee Jackson will officiate.  Burial will follow at Lamasco Cemetery.

Linda Lou Grisham was born on April 15, 1949 in Bonham and went to be with the Lord on Monday; September 17, 2018.  She married Wayman A (Squeaky) Grisham on September 6, 1969 in Lamasco and he preceded her in death on November 19, 2010 and she was also preceded in death by her parents William Clarence (WC) Coonrod and Edith Florene Goodwin Coonrod, and brothers Clifford Coonrod and Gene Coonrod.

She is survived by her three daughters, Susan Grisham of Bonham, Karen Grisham Jennings of Rockwall, and Crystal Grisham Steele Of Dallas. And two sisters Annie Rosella Coonrod Burchfield of Parachute CO and Carolyn Sue Coonrod Popham of San Antonio TX.

Linda has 10 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, great nieces, nephews and Great-great nieces and nephews

Linda was in the very first RN graduating class of Grayson County College in May of 1969 receiving her RN and her BSN from The University of Texas at Arlington in May of 1987. She retired from the Bonham VA after 25 years as an ICU nurse and then retired from Trailblazers after 9 years and has been at Clyde W Cosper Texas State Veteran's Home in Bonham as the RN night supervisor for the past 14 years.

Linda loved the Lord with all her heart and was a member of Central Baptist Church in Bonham. She always wanted to make sure you were going to church and doing the right thing. She had the biggest heart and was always helping someone.  Linda also was the happiest outside, and if you knew her, you knew about her cows and her travels. She had travelled all over the world and was always up for the next adventure. ... Fly High! She is on to her next big adventure

The family will receive friends at Wise Funeral Home from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M on Friday, September 21, 2018.
