Funeral services for Lillian Marie Birdwell, 97, of Bonham, Texas will be held at 2:00 PM Monday, August 11, 2014 at Boyd Baptist Church under the direction of Wise Funeral Home. Rev. Jerry Clements will officiate. Burial will follow at Lamasco Cemetery. Lillian passed away early Saturday, August 9, 2014 at Seven Oaks Nursing and Rehabilitation in Bonham.
Lillian was born April 30, 1917 in Lamasco Community of Fannin County, Texas, the daughter of George Washington Wolf and Eleanor Clayton Cornelia Bonner. She attended Bonham schools. She was a loyal member and Sunday school teacher at Boyd Baptist Church. Lillian was preceded in death by her parents, and husbands James Edward Fairchild (married April 30, 1940 and died in 1954); Ray W. Garrison (married March 3, 1957 and died March 7, 1975); and Olen Birdwell (married Oct. 3, 1987 and died Feb. 4, 1989) brother, George Clayton Wolf (died Jan. 10, 1981) and nephew Robert "Bobby" Dean Wolf (died 2007)

3 Step Daughters, Norma Hamby of Bonham, Texas
Lois Stephenson of Maryland, Texas
Annele Odem of Grand Prairie, Texas
Special friend (among many) Marguerite Edwards of Paris, Texas
Several Step grandchildren, great and great great nieces and nephews, extended family and friends.
Pallbearers will be Ronny Coonrod, Don Barnet, Brent Speck, Lee Hamby, James Kyle Wolf and Claude Wix.
Honorary pallbearers will be members of the Willing Workers Sunday school Class at Boyd Baptist Church.
