Lila Nadine Coates, 69, our loving mother and best friend went to be with the Lord on October 4, 2011 in Bonham TX. Although we are saddened by her absence here on earth, we rejoice for her reunion in heaven, where she is reunited with the loved ones she has lost along her life's journey.
Lila was born in Wapanucka, Oklahoma on March 19, 1942. Lila is survived by: Daughters, Tammie Juglal and Connie Pasch (Greg), and daughter-in-law Gina Ray Coates; Siblings: Linnie Stephens, and Lamona Hatter; Grandchildren, Bryce Coates (Honor), Kandice Pasch, Trevor Czerwinski, and Tristan Juglal, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband,Hollis Laverne Coates; a son, Eddie (Ed) Coates; mother, Ruthie Robinson Stephens; father, Virgle Ray Stephens; sisters, Lorene Desmang and Lola Stephens; brothers, Leroy Stephens, Loyd Stephens, Lenton Stephens, Leslie Stephens, Nolen Stephens and Luther Stephens.
In the spring of 1960 Lila Nadine Stephens was united in holy matrimony with Hollis Laverne Coates. The following March the new couple welcomed the birth of their oldest daughter, Tammy Coates. The following year the new family welcomed a second daughter, Connie Coates. Much to the new family's surprise the following year a beautiful little boy Eddie (ED) Coates was born. During the day to day struggles of being a loving mom and wife Lila never lost her faith in her Savior and Lord. Lila was an active member of her church and taught Sunday School. Lila loved her family and was very proud of all of her family and their accomplishments in life.
Mom-You will forever be in our thoughts. You will never be forgotten and you memory lives on in our hearts.
