Lesley Grant Brawner

Lesley Grant Brawner, age 41, of Elwood, Texas, gained his heavenly wings on Friday, August 16th, 2024. Funeral services will be held at Wise Funeral Home Chapel in Bonham, Texas on Wednesday, August 21st, 2024 at 11 am. officiated by Rev. Ricky Robbins. Friends and family will be received at 10 am prior to the service. Lesley will be laid to rest at Elwood Cemetery.

Lesley was born August 17th, 1982, in Sherman, Texas to Kloes & Jessie Brawner. He attended Sam Rayburn ISD from kindergarten to 12th grade and graduated in 1999. While in high school, Les served as the basketball manager. Les was a sweet angel sent from God to a family who all loved and adored him. He was a loving son, brother, and uncle. He enjoyed watching movies, playing video games, long back scratches, food, and spending time with his friends and family. He especially loved playing with his nieces and nephews. Les was a special soul who will be missed by all.

Lesley was preceded in death by his father, Kloes L. Brawner; his sister, Karen Brawner Mosley; his sister in-law, Glenda Brawner; and his niece, Haley Brawner.

He is survived by his mother, Jessie Brawner; his brothers, Barry Brawner; Darrin Brawner and wife Jamie; his sister, Tina Thomas and husband Sam; and brother in-law Audie Mosley; 11 nieces and nephews, and 7 great nieces and nephews.

Nephews, DJ Brawner, Kory Mosley, Jake Brawner, Robert Brawner, Coby Brawner, Dillon Mosley, Zach Thomas, and Will Thomas will serve as pallbearers. Kerry Wade will be an honorary pallbearer.
