Obituary

Lee-Nan Myers, born on January 23, 1948, passed away peacefully on December 20, 2025. A dedicated professional, Lee-Nan spent 25 years working for Blue Cross Blue Shield, where she played a pivotal role in processing health insurance claims. A graduate of Garland High School, she took pride in her educational background and the career she built within the health insurance industry.

Lee-Nan was known for her stubborn spirit and great sense of humor. Her passion for the Dallas Cowboys was legendary, making game days a spirited occasion in her household.

Beyond her professional life, Lee-Nan found joy in cooking, often exploring new recipes and reading cookbooks. Her deep affection for her role as a "Nana" brought warmth and laughter to the lives of her grandchildren. In addition, Lee-Nan was a devoted dog lover.

Lee-Nan leaves behind her son, Christopher Chad Reid, and daughter-in-law, Cindy Reid. She will be fondly remembered by her granddaughter, Christie Lee Reid, and her grandson, Christopher Conner Reid. Her family also includes her father, Harris Myers, stepsister Sherry Griffith and her husband Marty, along with numerous cousins: Brian and Ann Roberts, Brad and Delane Roberts, and Wanda Hayes.

Preceding her in death are her beloved mother, Lutherine Myers; stepmother, Lois Myers; aunt and uncle, Barbara and Charles Hayes; cousins, Mike, David, and Bill Hayes; aunt and uncle, Walter and Nancy Roberts; as well as her cherished grandparents, Bill and Opal Hayes and Virginia and Harris Myers.

Arrangements are under the loving care of Wise Funeral Home, Bonham, TX. Services are Monday, December 29, 2025 at 2pm at the First Methodist Church in Bonham. Visitation is one hour prior to service.  Burial will follow at Willow Wild Cemetery with Pastor Julie Henson officiating.
