A celebration of life for Lee Frances Dodson, 87, of Bonham will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, Aug. 12, 2016 in Wise Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Jerry Clements and Rev. Mike Allred will officiate. Burial will follow in Willow Wild Cemetery. Lee Frances passed into the loving arms of her Savior, Jesus Christ on Monday, Aug. 8, 2016 at Medical Center of Plano.

Lee Frances was born May 1, 1929 in Fannin County, Texas, the daughter of Carl Lee Fogle and Verlon May Evans Fogle. Raised by her grandparents, William Henry "Bill" Evans and Mettie Miller Evans in the Lamasco Community, Lee Frances attended schools in Lamasco, Gum Springs, Buck Cooper and Hudsonville. She married the love of her life, Stanley Roger Dodson on Dec. 15, 1962 in Bonham. In the early years of their marriage, they lived in Bonham and Savoy and moved to Lake Bonham in 1984. Lee Frances worked for Bonham Mfg. Co. for a number of years before going to work for Texas Instruments in Dallas and Sherman. She enjoyed reading and vacationing with her brother and sister-in-law, Richard and Zella Fogle and their family. She was longtime member of Boyd Baptist Church. Lee Frances was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother, aunt and friend. She loved her family with a passion and enjoyed every minute she spent with them. Lee Frances was preceded in death by her beloved, Stanley, on Sept. 2, 2014, her parents and grandparents, daughters, Deronda Goodwin and Rhonda Dodson Lantz, and brother, Travis Lowell Fogle.

Phyllis Dodson Ceglia and husband, Tom of Durango, Colorado and
Terry Dodson Bailey and husband, Bob of Walnut Creek, California;
Brothers, Richard Fogle and wife, Zella of Tulsa, Oklahoma and Bobby Stewart of Hot Springs, Arkansas; Sister, Lavon Stewart Howell of Hot Springs, Arkansas; Sister-in-law, Wynonah Fogle of the Carson Community; Brother-in-law, Clifford Dodson and wife, Katherine of Mineola, Texas; Son-in-law, Ralph Lantz of Port Aransas, Texas;
9 grandchildren, Doris Whitworth (Charlie), Lea Dawnette Faulkner (Shon), Debra Thomas, Keri Deronda Goodwin, Casey Reynolds, Michael Neely, Chad Neely (Michelle), Leslie Caster (Donald) and Taylor Stevens; 13 Great Grandchildren, Krystal Brannum, Mathew Brannum (Jayde), Kaylea Whitworth, Colby Faulkner (Ashley), Aaron Faulkner, Lanie Johnston, Hestin Johnston, Chandler Johnston (Jeremy), Tristan Johnson, Saylor and Dutch Neely, Charlie Grace Neely, and Lexie Fay Stevens; 3 Great Great Grandchildren, Mason, Aiden, and Malea and one on the way; Numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends.

Pallbearers will be Mathew Brannum, Hestin Johnston, Colby Faulkner, Alan Dodson, Chad Neely and Michael Neely. Honorary pallbearers will be Ricky Fogle, Herman Carl "Skeeter" Fogle, Travis Dale Fogle, Danny Ray Fogle, Aaron Faulkner, Shon Faulkner, Charlie Whitworth, Tom Ceglia, and Bob Bailey.
