Leann Hinkle passed away at her home in Garland, TX on August 8, 2026 with her son by her side. 

She was born May 10, 1935 in Dodd City, TX. After her beloved soul mate Bobby Hinkle passed away in 1975 Leann moved to Garland where she remained until her passing. 

Leann will be fondly remembered for her love of square dancing, trips with her best friends Billy and Shirley Harris to Lake Tahoe. She also enjoyed babysitting all her nieces and nephews in their childhood. Leann was a hard worker always willing to go the extra mile to provide for her family. 

She is preceded in death by her husband Bobby, her parents, and siblings, James, Tootsie, Peggy and Betty. 

Leann is survived by her son, Larry Hinkle, sister, Caroline, and many extended family members.
