L.B. Marshall

Funeral services for Mr. L.B. Marshall, age 90, of Bonham, will be held at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, June 1, 2011 in the Wise Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. W. C. "Bill" Beasley will officiate. Burial will follow in the Willow Wild Cemetery. Mr. Marshall passed away on Sunday, May 29, 2011 at the Clyde W. Cosper Texas State Veterans Nursing Home in Bonham.

Mr. Marshall was born on January 25, 1921 in Bonham, Texas, the son of Mr. Bacon Saunders Marshall and Mary Elizabeth Carriker. He married Edna Marie Harden on February 12, 1949 and she preceded him in death on November 22, 1980. He was in the United States Army Air Corp during World War II and was a jet engine mechanic and continued with the Civil Service serving at Perrin Air Force Base and Tinker Air Force Base. He also provided Wide load Escort services after retirement. Mr. Marshall was a member of the First Baptist Church in Bonham and enjoyed being a member of the Texoma Square Dancers. He was preceded in death by his son Timothy Edward Marshall, brother, William Marshall, Sisters, Juanita Toliver and Helen Brown and granddaughter, Tiffany Marshall.

He is survived by:
Son: Rodney Harden Marshall and wife Dee Dee of Ivanhoe
Daughter: Sherry Ann Fisher and husband Mike of Wichita Falls
Sister-in-law: Nina Marshall Garrett of Bonham
Grandchildren: Doug White, Brad and April White, Jay and Crystal White, Jeff and Carson White, Autum and Danny Ertel, Bobby Loftice, and Amy and Cole Watson
Great Grandchildren: Drake Watson, Jaycie-Leigh Ertel, Avery White, Gracelynn Loftice, Levi Watson, Gage White and Blaidon Ertel.

Pallbearers will be Doug White, Brad White, Jay White, Danny Ertel and Cole Watson.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Jeff White and Bobby Loftice and his Sunday School Class.

The family will receive friends at Wise Funeral Home from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. on Tuesday, May 31, 2011.
