Larry David Wheeler

Funeral services for Mr. Larry David Wheeler, age 66, of Bonham, will be held at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, December 29, 2015 at the Living Word Church of God, 699 US Hwy 82 Bonham, Texas 75418 under the direction of Wise Funeral Home in Bonham. Bishop John Chism and Bishop Jerry McDowell will officiate. Burial with Military Honors will follow in the Willow Wild Cemetery in Bonham. Larry passed away at the Baylor St. Luke's Medical Center in Houston, Texas on December 23, 2015.

Larry was born on December 27, 1948 in Cleveland, Tennessee, the son of Preston Hoyt Wheeler and Wanda Irene Goodwin Wheeler. Larry was a graduate of Bradley High School and married Judi Elizabeth Tidmore on August 6, 1966 in Coffeyville, Kansas. Larry served in the United States Navy from 1966 -1969 while aboard the USS Oriskany and USS Hancock during the Vietnam War. He was retired from his business, Complete Pest Control, and was a member and deacon of the Living Word Church of God.

Tony Wheeler and wife Cindy of McKinney, TX
Jody Wheeler and wife Jenni of McKinney
Brothers; Terry Wheeler and wife Phyllis of Lakeland, Florida
JR Wheeler and wife Glenda of Cleveland, TN
Sister: Brenda Pigg and husband Charles of Plano
Grandchildren: Emily Neve (Joel), Lt. Larry David Wheeler III (Trey), Jacob Ray Wheeler, Annalisa Wheeler, Jordan Wheeler, Abby Wheeler and Ethan Wheeler
Great Grandchildren: Thomas Neve, Mary Olive Neve and Lucy Neve
Several nieces, nephews, extended family and a host of friends.

Pallbearers will be Trey Wheeler, Jacob Wheeler, Jordan Wheeler, Ethan Wheeler, Joel Neve and Clint Johnson.
Honorary Pallbearer will be Phillip Battle

The family will receive friends at Wise Funeral Home from 5:30 P.M. until 7:30 P.M. on Monday, December 28, 2015.
